Community Manager
The Role:
If you're the kind of person that enjoys kitchens because of the heat, you just might be a Community Manager! After all, hot kitchens produce great food, don't they?

As ManyChat's Community Manager, you'll be a beacon of leadership in our extremely fast-growing Facebook group and abroad. You will bridge the gap between company and customer by facilitating meaningful relationships between community members. You'll connect customers with content, and problems with solutions. The Community Manager provides a voice for the company, while advocating on behalf of the customer.

You will be pivotal in helping our 300,000+ community of small businesses, entrepreneurs, agencies and consultants achieve success with Messenger Marketing.

Do you love helping people on both sides of the table feel heard? This is a wonderful opportunity to flex your strong empathy muscles.

The right person for this role has experience in social customer service, a deep familiarity with various social media platforms (especially Facebook), and a working knowledge of effective content marketing strategy. You will also have experience proactively building an environment for those people that facilitates conversations and actively attracts more people into our community; even convinces people who haven't yet started with Messenger Marketing to give it a spin. You're an empath, a troubleshooter, a "just give me 30 minutes and we'll figure this out" kind of person.

The field of Messenger Marketing is still young and growing. As platforms change, tools change, and rules change. You're someone who is comfortable with change and building processes around communicating about change. You keep a cool head in a fiery building and are patient when others panic.

Our Ideal Candidate has:
  • 5+ years of total work experience in marketing or related field
  • 3+ community management experience
  • Experience working with a large community (>1000)
  • Experience working with a community made up of employees of your customers (not direct consumers)
  • Experience working with community of marketers and SaaS customers
